The teens and their parents loved getting together for a family movie night and having a few bags of sweets shared between them in individual bowls. The whole family are a bit ‘Joey don’t share’ so having their own bowl meant that they could eat the snacks at their own pace and order – no worrying if Dad was eating too fast, or Mum was hogging the best sweets.
Soon enough Bowl of Fun (or BOF) became part of the family language “movie and BOF tonight anyone?” The main problem was that when they got to the sofa, no one had remembered to buy the treats. Trying to persuade lazy/tired parents to go out and buy sweets was a problem.
The teenagers realised that there was a gap in the market for a service that delivered sweet treats to the door within an hour of ordering.
Lockdown 2020 saw lots of time to think and daydream, they started wondering if other people felt the same way. So, after some hardcore market research and lots of taste testing, Bowl of Fun became a commercial reality.
The teens created a business, brand, website and priced products to be fair and high quality. Meeting their own needs and that of their customers.
At launch, Bowl of Fun is available as a generous portion which should satisfy the appetites of two people (or one, with some leftover for the next movie or box set binge).
Initially, during the launch phase, Bowl Of Fun will be delivered to the area of Neath Port Talbot, for a flat fee of £2 or free delivery with purchases over £15.
